Superior Rig Mats is a new venture and manufacturing addition that began in October 2010. Our Rig Mats are proudly Pennsylvanian and the business has created over 30 new jobs and growing! Our mats are all made with Pennsylvania distributed steel, Pennsylvania hardwood, and Pennsylvania labor!

A rig mat is a portable platform used to support equipment used in construction and resource- based activities including drilling rigs. It also acts as a structural roadway to provide passage over unstable ground, pipelines and more.

• Construction of the Mats - All mats are made with Pennsylvania distributed steel frames surrounding durable Pennsylvania hardwood decking using Pennsylvania labor. Available sizes are 8' x 40' or 8' x 20'. Custom sizes available on request.
